StrovaPI ships continuously. Everything below is live in production for every customer right now — no roadmap items, no coming soon, no asterisks.
Every item now opens on one card: where it sits, which ITPs it gets from its type and which were added by hand, and what it holds. The register shows its shape first — systems, lots, equipment — and tells you when items sit inside nothing, so nothing rolls up from them. One press groups them into a system, with the move shown before it is made.
A new register now walks you through three steps: choose what gets inspected, build your structure, raise the ITPs. Adding starts by asking whether it is a system, a lot or equipment, and a + on every row adds under it. Add several makes a dozen pours or a whole line by chainage in one go, or takes rows pasted from Excel, and shows every one before anything is created.
Every lot, system and item now has a QA pack button: a ZIP holding a work-pack index and every ITP and ITR raised against it and everything beneath it, each ITR straight after the ITP it came from. Printed ITPs name the ITR under each row it was carried out as. The index states how many allocated records are not in the pack and why, so a partial pack never passes for a complete one.
Raise an NCR straight from a lot, system or item and the form already names it. Until the NCR is closed, that node and everything above it read as outstanding, on the tree, in the warning before closing or energising, and on the Quality Dashboard. The Quality Dashboard also adds up lot quantities now, counting only lots someone has conformed: 1,240 of 2,000 m³, one line per unit.
A switchboard's progress now includes the breakers in it, a feeder's includes every tower and footing on it, and a failed ITR or unreleased hold point anywhere below holds every level above it open. Projects with lots and systems get a lens that turns the lifecycle tiles to each in turn, with readiness in its own words: ready to commission, to close or to energise.
The QA register now holds a circuit, a pour and a breaker side by side. A lot carries its quantity and chainage, a system carries its own commissioning ITPs, and each sits inside the next: the transformer on its foundation, the foundation in its yard. The tree shows every row with the progress of everything beneath it and says in words what has failed or has nothing allocated. Closing a lot or energising a system with work still open asks first and records who went ahead.
Stick a code in the cab. Scanning it opens that machine — its rego, risk assessment and service records, with anything that has expired saying so — and logs today's prestart in one press, without hunting for the excavator in a list of hired gear. Documents can sit on the plant type too, so every machine of that kind carries the manual without anyone re-attaching it.
Workers scan a code on the way in and on the way out. The attendance register updates live and shows names — so you know who is on site right now, not who signed the paper book this morning. Printable gate posters included.
An induction can now ask real questions and keep what the worker answered, not just that they ticked acknowledge. The answers sit on the induction record as evidence.
Point a phone at a white card, licence or ticket and Stella reads the type, number and expiry into the record for you to confirm. Typing a ticket number off a wet card in a site shed is nobody's idea of a good time.
Hand Stella a transcript and get structured draft minutes back — attendees, decisions and actions separated out, ready for you to correct and issue rather than write from scratch.
An equipment work pack now names the gear and the standard it is tested against before it lists the work, so the person holding the tablet knows what they are signing off against.
Changes to an equipment record keep a history of what changed, and a deleted record can be brought back. Nothing on a compliance trail should be one mis-tap from gone.
Configuration is gathered into a single place instead of being scattered behind each module, the Portfolio sits above the project rather than inside it, and you land on a project instead of an empty screen.
A comment typed in a dead spot is now held and sent when the connection returns, instead of quietly disappearing with the tab. The camera button opens the camera rather than the file picker, and the on-screen keyboard no longer covers the panel you are typing into.
Printed and exported site records carry the right title block, and it is configurable per project rather than fixed.
A document-number prefix is now guaranteed unique within a workspace, so two projects cannot quietly issue the same number.
Long project names no longer wrap into the controls beside them on a narrow screen.
Creating an account could sign itself out mid-registration and strand the new user on the login screen. It does not any more.
Invite suppliers into their own scoped portal, where they see only their tender. Every submission is versioned and kept, so a late revision never overwrites the history of what was actually offered and when.
Send a public link. The worker completes the induction on their own phone, uploads their tickets and signs. You review evidence instead of running the session and chasing the paperwork afterwards.
Every inducted worker gets a live view of their own profile, tickets and expiry dates — so the person whose card expires next week is the one who finds out first.
Remove someone's access to a project in one action, and flag a person as needing to be inducted again before they return.
Upload a SWMS and Stella reviews it against model WHS material as an advisory first pass. Findings are tracked individually, sent back to the contractor to revise and resubmit, and closed out on the record — not in an email thread.
Photograph the completed prestart as the record, and let the system chase the plant that has not had one today.
Compliance packs per contractor type, verification gated on actually having opened the evidence, and a warning rather than a hard block when you engage a contractor who is not fully compliant yet.
Minutes intake is no longer PDF-only. Upload whatever you have, or paste the text straight in, and get a formatted minutes document out.
Site registers run on templates you can tailor — add the fields your project actually captures, and turn off the sub-modules it does not use.
Custom dashboard widgets can be half or full width, toggled on the card itself, and your layout now syncs across every device you sign in on.
Capture, gallery, markup and a progress report built from the photos themselves. Fixed viewpoints let you compare the same position week to week, and photos link back to the defect, RFI or record they belong to.
Earned value from the project cost breakdown, rolled up across the workspace, with RAG alerts on the projects that need attention this week.
No separate spreadsheet to maintain. Issuing a payment certificate moves the linked cost line to pending invoice by itself.
Issue an NCR as a PDF, bring an existing register in, link it to the records it concerns, and escalate a defect into one without retyping it.
The assistant became Stella, gained document-aware templates, and learned to ask a clarifying question instead of guessing when a request is ambiguous.
Inspection records match the way inspections are actually run on site, rather than the way a form designer imagined them.
